I have found out that it is best practice to put transaction logs onto a seperate physical disk than the database files. I'm running SQL 2000 and was wondering exactly when I am supposed to place the transaction log files onto the seperate physical disk, because once they are created on the disk with the database files I am told they cannot be moved... can anyone help?!!?

Cheers Sunaj, looks quite helpfull... no doubt I'll be adding another post if I still can't do it.
