Transaction Log backup is not available in Enterprise Manager

We have an application database in SQL server 2000. when I try to backup transaction log file in Enterprise Manager. The Transaction Log is gray. What should I do to make it possible?

Check the Recovery Model for the database. It is proably set at Simple. If you want to do transaction backups, you must set it to Full or Bulk-logged. If you want to get the best answer for your question read faq183-874 and faq183-3179.
