trans buffer full

Hi,

i am new to this pos. There is a message on the screen that says 'trans buffer full - see manager'. I'm the manager, but I don't see this message anywhere in the manual.

Can someone please let me know what to do?

Unregister and re-register EDC in the BOH. The message that you are seeing is it on the terminals? Are all your permissions set up correctly? How many terminals?

A techie helped me out with this and had me increase the number of files for the trans buffer to 250. It got rid of the problem for now, but he is checking his documentation to try to get rid of it completely before it fill up again.

You never stated what POS you are using. This doesn't sound like an Aloha error...
