Hello guys i need some help to capture cdr data for operator console, I have been following your previous post to setup in ld 2, i am trying to print one report at the end of each day.

tshc 0 01 01 31 12
00 00 1
2 3 4 5 6
.
above is what i have configured, what time of the day would i be able to print a INVC 0 4 report?

Don't confuse CDR with traffic.
Traffic reports won't give you details of calls, only a count.

You have shown the customer traffic schedule which indicates the traffic data will be generated every hour Monday through Friday.
You also need to make sure the options for customer traffic are set for the report you want.
TOPC 0 to view
SOPC 0 4 to set.
You may want to also capture report 3 because it shows interesting information that report 4 does not - number of abandoned calls, etc.
So
SOPC 0 3 4

To use the INVC command you will need to do it every hour. The system doesn't save the traffic data for an entire day unless you have DBA set up. Unless you have a 3rd party traffic reporting device then that can be maybe more involved than you want to get.

Thanks for clearing that up, the customer uses avotus for call accounting. All extension except for the 2250's are accounted for in avotus. I am trying to capture all call made from the operator console. How do I achieve this? I have icdr set to icda in the 2250 setup.

Thanks

I'm not sure how Avotus designates the consoles.
The CDR records for consoles appear in the raw CDR as ATTNxx where xx is the console number. That is different than a regular phone.
There is probably an option in the Avotus reporting mechanism for consoles but I can't tell you what that is.

Thanks Stanley, other tHan the icdr option in the console setup. Is there any other thing that I will need change for the attn data to be sent in cdr?

No. If you are getting CDR for all the other phones then the switch will also be sending CDR for the consoles.

Ok, apart from the ICDR option in the console setup, is there anything else that I need to change for the attn data to be sent in cdr?

OK thanks I am gonna collect the raw data and look for attn01, 02 and 03. Sorry for the double post......

I am getting cdr for the console now but it's only for incoming and outgoing calls. How do I capture the internal calls made from console to extensions?

When the attendant transfers a call the CDR record does not show the attendant in any call records. You will only see CDR for the attendant when the attendant answers or originates a call but does not transfer the call. So most calls to the attendant are usually transferred and the CDR will have no indication that the attendant was involved.

Ok, it's seems as if I have a small problem then. When the attendant calls a local extension it is not recorded but if the attendant calls a off pbx extension it is recorded. The Norte is connected to another pbx over a tie trunk and the calls that go over the tie trunk is recorded. Do I need to be lookin at RDB?

Are you sure you still have ICDA on that console?
RDB wouldn't have anything to do with internal calls/
