My vendor has setup port one on my CS1k to output SMDR data. I asked them to also turn on the traffic data so my call accounting provider can process the attendant console information. When I look at the SMDR raw data file I can see the calls with times, dates and numbers dialed but when the traffic information is outputed it is garbage. Looks like the settings are not correct. I contacted my Call Accounting provider and they informed me I have to setup the traffic ports baud rate and parity. Is that so? Don't I just setup the port not the information that is being printed. The CDR looks fine...the traffic data is garbage.

??? I'm sent this to TTY1 a serial port already.. Do you mean send to data to another serial port to test. I also have the traffic data printing to TTY4 where I have hyperterminal setup with capture turned on. No problem on that port.

Thx
T
