I was wondering if there is a command that I could use to track sessions on a cisco 3600? We noticed a increase in transmit traffic on our external interface of our router. What I was wondering is if there is a command that will allow me to see IP to rx/tx traffic utilization? thanks

yes u want to track a particular interface traffic from source to destination

u can try this

router>enable
router# conf t
router(config)#int fas 1/0
router(config)#ip route-cache flow
router(config-if)#end
router#show ip cache flow
u can see the tracffic from which ip is increasing

thanks ashokshabakah, is there much of a hit on cpu/memory?

A little but not that much as long as the router isn't already buried you should be fine .
