Having difficulty logging onto a switch. What was working yesterday isnt today. Logged on to tracker and got system prompt 1> then typed :IT0. Then at the next command prompt typed :ME. Then it replies with 'OK@ . I hit return but no response. I would like to get a hold of the manual. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you

The fact that you get nothing after ;ME sort of indicates that there is nothing connected to the port!

However, it's not unknown for the port to hang. You can usually clear this by issuing the folloing two commands:

;CM N,Y,N,Y <RET>

;CM N,Y,N,N <RET>

This effectively unplugs the cable into the port and resets the port.

There is NO echo for these commands!

Hope this helps

Matt

If you want to echo the reponses to the screen you can use, ;EM Y at the 1> Prompt.
