Is there any software or third party tool to trace e-mails that have been sent previously, surely Exchange keeps a list of all e-mails that have been sent internally and externally. Was wondering whether it comes with Exchange or how you would be able to track this/

sorry for this late reply but yes there is a way that you can set up Exchange to trace your emails. The way that you would have to do this is as follows:

1. start the system manager
2. select the server that you wish to track
3. select enable message tracking
4. set the rest as you wish

Then you need to search for the message or user that you are looking to trace. This is done insdie the Exchange system manager under Monitoring and Status. Remember you have to log the emails before you can trace them.

Let me know if this helps:)
