traceroute on SBCE 7

Hi everyone.

having issues with an SBC and have been asked to do a traceroute from the B1 external interface to the Gamma signalling address.

the customer in question has a working Sipera version4 and i can sudo su and traceroute on that, but on the SBCE 7 it just shows *** instead of addresses, but i can ping the gateway etc for example.
