Hi

The system maintenance people were in last week doing some traces on the system. When they left they forgot to turn something off on the system, every few seconds it keep throwing out something like this:

[pre]NCT400 244 0 0 7 OVF DIG_LD=
00B08E13 00B0896A 00B33664 01F157C6 01F13DF8

NCT400 + 01CF0E60 01C24498 25C76B67[/pre]

Can anyone tell me where and how I turn this off. It's very distracting. I've asked the maintenance people to do it, but that might take ages.

Is that from an Enhanced Trace in LD 80?

Maybe LD 80 .stpt (stop the enhanced trace)

Oops never mind, I think that's an error message not a trace. Sorry, I'm still somewhat new to this Nortel world.

I believe they were doing Network Call Traces and turned on MTC on your tty port.

OK, thanks. Any idea how to turn it off, I don't have a clue :(

It would appear that the message refers to

Busy or overflow tone received by the monitoring terminal as defined in
LD 80.

Severity: Info

I think you would need to turn off the monitoring in LD 80.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.
