I have a distribution list with all my employees in it.
Whenever i send a e-mail to this list the e-mail is also being sent to a common mailbox which isnt part of the distribution list.

What would be the best place to trace this?

i donot understand what you sail, may be you means mail achieving?I Konow Exchange can do this

Could be a couple of things. First is that one of the recipients is setup for delivery to that account as well.

Second, one of the recipients could have that account configured as a delegate.

Third, one of the recipients could have a rule configured to forward mail to that account.

for example, you can create you mailbox in your default SG.and create an additional new SG(SG2) and mail store in the Storage Group,in SG2's mail store you should add a user account like administrator@yourdoman.com.On the other hand, you can do some configuration on your default SG,Right-chick the mail store/properties/general/"Archive all messages sent or received by mailboxes on this store",and select the user "adminstrator" that is created in SG2.
