I am in a world of mess right now. I had a MS Access DB I used onlinje with a .ASP application. everything had been going great, until I opened the DB on the web server and started making changes while a user was writing to the DB. Now, I get this error:

"...mdb needs to be repaired or isnt a DB file". Then it prompts me to run the detect/repair wizrd and it does not work.

I have tried copying the DB to a local drive and nothing. This is critical I restore it. does anyone have any ideas??

Thanks all,

Joey

I would try create a new, blank mdb and copy import all the objects from the "suspect" mdb. Sometimes this might fail but also might tell you which object is suspect.

Decompiling might help:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\MSACCESS.EXE" /decompile "C:\MyDatabase.mdb
