Hi,
I have an old Toshiba SatellitePro 410CDT running Win 95. Is it possible to upgrade to Win 98SE or higher without the toshiba drivers? Toshiba tells me that this notebook is only designed for Win 95 and there are no drivers for higher versions. Would the new operating system install generic drivers that would work? I need to upgrade to be able to use PCMCIA cardbus.
Thanks

Thanks. The slot is currently used with network card which I was going to remove to be able to use the PCMCIA. I was told by Toshiba that I need the USB PCMCIA cardbus to be able to use USB flash drive but Win95 won't work with the card. As far as I know the PCMCIA card comes with Win98SE, ME, 2000 and XP only. Is there a driver for Win 95?
