Toshiba Libretto 50CT with wireless pcmcia

I have a Toshiba Libretto 50CT and I am having a difficult time configuring a wireless pcmcia adaptor. I am using Windows NT and a Compaq wireless card(HNW-100). I get no action of any kind from this card in the libretto. I know how to configure security, WEP, mac address...etc. The only thing I can come up with is that the PCMCIA slot on the Libretto is a 16 bit bus and the card must be 32bit. What card will work in the Libretto 50ct ? Has anyone tried this combination with success ? What brands manufacture cards that are not Cardbus ?

After much searching I've only found one single card that works. There are others but they are no longer being manufactured or sold. If you have a local Circuit City near you or you can order one online if you can find a vendor. The card is called Belkin 2.4GZ DSSS PMCIA card 802.1b/11 Mbps. Model F5D6020. The differance with most of the 16bit PMCIA cards is that they are no longer supporting 5 volts that the older SLOT I's put out. They are only 3.3V so the cards either don't work or they get too hot from the 5 volt supplied by the Libretto. I found out about this card because a friend mentioned it was the only WIFI card he could get to work with his old Pentium I laptop. It works great but really drains the battery so you may want to consider getting an extender or a new higher output one. This page has a lot of Libretto 50ct stuff and advertises the Belkin too.
