Hi All,

I have a few clients with Toshiba CIX100/670 systems. I have been using my old laptop (XP Pro Service pack 2) with an old version of eManager (4.xxx)for years with no problems. I recently upgraded Java to the Version 7 update 45, I believe that screwed up my eManager program. I tried to update to the newer version of eManager, however, the new program is requesting that I remove all CTX WinAdmin programs from my laptop before the new version can be loaded. I went into the add/remove section and could not find any of the CTX WinAdmin programs. I went into the C: drive and found CTX, but it will not let me delete it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be seeing something in your add/remove programs in your control panel. We had a few PCs years ago that the eManager quit working and we tried to reload it but it would stop with an error. We were told by Toshiba that we should reload Windows. I have never had an issue with my own PC , but I have always installed a clean version of Windows myself on my laptops with no crap from the PC maker. You may want to try installing service pack 3 and then the newest eManager. The newest eManager is easiest one to install that I've seen. I believe the newest is NetworkeManagerV5.20B26. You need to make sure you have no other eManager or WinAdmin software installed on your PC before you install the latest version of the eManager.
