Hello,

I have a site that has Verizon centrex lines and had to dial a 9 to get an outside line, I suspect this is the PBX configuration by default. I moved the lines to another provider in which they do not support assume 9 feature. So now, the site has to dial 9, 9 then the number. Is there a way to program the switch to look for a 9? The site will need still dial a 9 because thats what the CO is looking for, but at least it will be only one.

Thanks.

You would probably program the 9 in an ARS table or equivalent. I don't know what the Toshiba provides, but most of the hybrids work about the same way from my experience. You might want to read the documentation.

You will need to program the LCR. I believe the Assume 9 is only for Destination Restriction.

You need to add leading digit of 9 to your LCR routes.
