I have a Tortech PA-35 paging amplifier that I would like to connect to a telephone system paging output.
This amplifier does not have the typical 600 ohm telephone paging connections that most amplifiers have.
Does anyone know if it is okay to use the MIC 1 input or is it better to use the AUX input?

Thanks.

Use AUX

Thanks for the reply curlycord.

Do you know if I should be using a 600 ohm matching transformer when using the AUX input.
I have two on this amplifier: Phono & AUX CD

Thanks,

nightwolf

Look for "Bogen WMT", that's what popped up out of the depths of my memory for the matching transformer we used to use to convert from 600 ohm paging to Aux input

I use those amps all the time. Direct to Aux is fine.
