Hello. Does anyone know how to edit the Topics area in Sharepoint Portal Server 2003? I was hoping to use this page as a site map for my Sharepoint site.

Or does anyone have a better solution for creating a site map page to help organize sharepoint?

Are you wanting to have a site map over SharePoint sites (such as Team Web Sites, Document workspaces etc)?

We are using the Sites Directory template for that, so that we can organize all our sharepoint sites.

I agree that the topics area template would actually look quite nice also being able to display sharepoint sites rather that just display the areas.

Have you looked at 3rd party webparts? I think there are a few out that actually helps you with navigation and can display both areas and sites created in a portal environment.

Thanks Thomas. I've not seen any 3rd party webparts. I may just design a seperate page for it. I was looking for something that would be pretty descriptive. I'd like it to show each site and the content that can be accessed in that site. Plus have everything be a hyperlink for an alternative way to get to the pages.
