Does anyone know of a tool similar to the old NT4.0 Server manager that will show who is logged on to which machine within a mixed mode domain? NT 4 Server manager will work but not consistantly.

If you go to computer management on the server you are looking at then System Tools\Shared Folders\Sessions you can see which users are connected and from which machine.

I don't have a mixed mode environment, but the Open Files and Sessions in the Management Console for the computer does the same as the old Server Manager in NT.

full path: Right click on My Computer, Manage, navigate threw System Tools, Shared Folders... from here you can choose Sessions or Open Files.

"In space, nobody can hear you click..."

Thanks but I need to query the whole domain and see who is logged on to each machine. Server manager in NT would do this but it is never quite up to date and does not return XP pro machines.

There is this sysinternals ( tool called psloggedon which can be used to query the current loggedon user on a remote PC. Combine this with a batch script to query a list of all your PCs from a text file.

psloggedon \\remotepc

Thanks this has done the trick. Brillant
