Today I tried to use Visual Studio.Net for the first time in a few months. I also installed Crystal Reports.Net from the VS.Net CDs.

The strange thing is that I seem to have lost most of the components from the Toolbox. For example I would have expected around eight options in the Data tab (SQLConnection, SQLDataAdapter, etc). The only tab that seems to be populated is HTML.

I have re-installed VS.NET and removed CR.NET but the problem persists.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks John. Do you know what the default components are? I have lost all of my settings. Thanks.

John, I just found that the Reset option has given me back the original missing components. Problem solved. Thanks for your help.

Curious where you find the Reset. I alphabetized my controls and I don't like it that way and would like to reset them back like they were originally (which seem to be most used at the top).

Anyone know how?

TIA

scc, right-click on the toolbox to bring up the "Customize Toolbox" dialog box. At the bottom is the Reset button.
