Is there any way to freeze the tool bar for File Edit etc on the top of the workbook i open? I do not want the individuals to be able to save/save as etc and to completely do this i need to rid the toolbars....

Hi,
If I have understood your question right you can get rid of the toolbar by going to View menu, select toolbars and deselect the standard.

I hope this helps

I think you can customize the menu bar to eliminate "Save".

It depends how much you don't want them to save.
Why not make the file read-only?
You can't eliminate Ctrl+S too...

Sometimes, the best thing to do is give the app its own menu. Then the users realize they're supposed to use it. :)
