Hi again:
I have a question. I'm using the MenuRecordFirst toolbar button to look be able to search through records on a form. It searches in a frame. There are two tables connected to this frame. When I click on one of the first three fields, it produces the correct name in the &quot;Locate&quot; dialog box. But when I click on the fourth field (this is the second table attached to the frame), it gives me a strange &quot;<table name>.<field>&quot; instead of what it's supposed to be.
Then when I run a locate, find nothing, cancel the box and reopen it, it works fine. Any ideas to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I don't understand. The menuRecordFirst button usually takes you to the first record in the table. It sounds like you are calling the Locate Dialog box using Ctl-Z or a Locate button.

If you have linked tables on a form they should be in their own MRO or tableframe. I suspect that is what's causing the problem - the dialog box is having trouble resolving the field name.

Thanks Mac. The fact that I have two tables to one frame explains why I have the error. Thanks!
