I have to set up 100 new user shares and was wondering if anyone has a easy/quick way to est up permissions on the folders.

Thanks in advance

hello
good tools for this work are hard to find.
we set our permissions on the fileserver with a batch.
use md (make directories) and for the permissions use xcacls (must be in the resource kit)
i know, if you've got a large filestructure you've got a lot to type. but once when you've got the batch, changes are very easy. (if you're interessted i can send you our batch and then you only can modify it) mailto: alex.kraemer@wagner.ch

i think a tool called security explorer can do this work for you, but it's not for free.
