I have exchange 5.5 sp4 installed on WK2 server. install ran fine and mailboxes are setup. Outbound mail is sending with no problems. When mail is incoming to exchange I get a event message saying "Too many hops" and mail never gets to the mailboxes. Route in exchange looks good! Anyone have an idea what is going on? Thanks!

I had the same problem and found that in IMS properties, on the Routing tab that Reroute incoming SMTP was selected.
I set it back to Do not re-route, restarted the IMS service and the mail flowed through..
