Came in this morning to a Major alarm... Says it was the Tone Board @ 10A. Went and replaced the tone board major stayed... replaced it again... Alarm didnt clear. Any ideas what could be causing it?

I know that from previous replacements of tone boards sometimes that have to be "Activated." But I can't for the life of me remember the command... anyway any help would be appreciated.

thanks that fixed it... 3 more alarms to go that i have to get cleared before I can upgrade to 8720's

It sounds like that system is limping pretty bad and it may be time to upgrade it.

yea well, it was much worse off... 21 cabinents G3R V11.1 hasn't been taken care of properly in probably 10 years... I took over 6 months ago and have been trying to clean it up, but its a complete mess... its in much better shape now then it was when I took over... if you can believe it... lucky for me we are upgrading to 8720's on the 26th.
