Toll Free No starting with 855 getting busy

hi Friends,

I am trying to dail Toll Free no which starts with 855, but i am getting a busy signal and could not find out what is the issue going on with this.

my system is a CS 1000 M.

Pls suggest.

If you are getting a busy as soon as you dial the second 5 then check your dialing plan- it may be blocked via SPN in LD 90. If you get a busy after the entire number is dialed then check the number or your local provider.

Print from your SPN or NPA tables how the other toll-free entries are defined, ie 800, 888, 877, 866. Add new entry for 855 to match.

If that's the only entry in your SPN table, then you will need to look at your NPA table.

1. Turn on capture to a file your TTY emulation program
2. >ld 90
REQ prt
CUST 0
FEAT net
TRAN ac1
TYPE npa

Capture your entire NPA table to a file.

3. Edit the file and search for NPA entries containing 800, 888, 877, 866 entries; these may be 1888, 1877, etc.

4. Create a new NPA entry for 855 prefixes.
