Our Telco is changing our PRI so that we will have no chages on LD calls. The current setup requires us to enter a code from which they provide a report. Before this change takes place we are to make changes to our dial plan. How would I find what is being sent to them that triggers an account code?

You can find out and change the inserted digits in the Digit Manipulation Index (DMI) table for you long distance calls in NARS/BARS.

Use ld 90 to find your Route List Index (RLI) for your long distance calls.

Then use LD 86 to find out which DMI the RLI is using and to change the DMI.

I can send some example for you on Monday if you need them.

I'm not sure anyone sends anything except the user entering there code on their keypad.

What "triggers an account code" is the fact that it is a long distance call.

Telco is telling me that they are feeding this PRI to Centex ports on their switch. The CPE switch is adding a '9' for local calls and a '8' for LD. If it is a '8' they request an account code from the caller which then gets entered into the call accounting record. Either way the 8 & 9 get stripped. With the proposed toll free PRI the 8 & 9 would not be used so they have to be removed from the CPE.

Here is a sample of how to look at and change your Digit Manipulation. This is assuming you are using AC1 for both local and long distance.
