UNKNOWN CALLER STATING TO BE AN EMPLOYEE CALLS IN ON DID, SOMEHOW COAXES EMPLOYEE IN HOUSE TO GIVE ACCESS TO OUTSIDE LINE. TYING UP TWO TRUNKS AND RACKING UP LARGE BILLS. WHAT TO DO?
 
Fire Employee. Very simple and extremely effective.
Or else restrict trunk to trunk.
 
TRUNK TO TRUNK IS USED BY ADMIN SO MUST STAY, CAN SOMETHING BE DONE AT STATION SIDE PROGRAMMING OR AREA CODE. HE SEEM TO BE DIALING SAME AREA CODE?????????
 
Broadcast message to all employees letting them know whats going on and not to give anyone outside line. Can you tell which dn is facilitating the transfer? Look at CDR data. Do you know how its being done? You can out area codes but the rest of the users are screwed.

The big picture is employee awareness and a total look at the switch/voicemail and possible fraud. I'm not an expert on this just my suggestions.
 
AREADY SENT THE MESSAGE BUT, I WOULD STILL LIKE TO DELETE SPECIFIC AREA CODE. NOT EXACTLY SURE HOW HE IS DIONG THIS. MABEY FEX HAS NO TRK SUPERVISION, BUT WHY WOULD MY PBX REISSUE DIALTONE.
 
Usually someone inside forwards a set with DID number to the trunk group ACOD. Everyone that calls that number gets new dial tone.

You can delete the area code in AC1
 
THANKS FOR HELP GUYS, TURNS OUT CALL WAS FROM AN INMATE POSING AS MD. CALLED SERVICE PROVIDER AND BLOCKED TRUNKS FROM COLLECT CALLS. THIS SHOULD SOLVE PROBLEM UNLESS MY THEORY IS WRONG. THANKS AGAIN
