Toggle Descriptions?

I noticed in the Member Selector, there is an option - "Toggle Descriptions". The only thing I can find in the help files is that is turns on long or short descriptions. My question is, where do I set the long vs. short description? Is that in the cube design itself? And if so, where?

This all depends on the type of cube you're connecting to.
I'll assume you're using MS AS so what you need to know is as follows:
The toggle description toggles between the member's Name and Caption. By default these are the same but they don't have to be. To set them to be different, you need to edit the dimension on the OLAP server.
I can't seem to find out how to do this, but I know that the Version dimension on the Crystal Samples does have these set to pick up the name from a look-up table

I'll have a play about and see if I can't figure out how to do it
