Hello,

Could someone tell me how to get the dots (....) running after my title headlines to the page numbers with the Table of Contents

This is the Leader shown in the type>tabs palette.

okay...I see the leader (wihtin the style sheet for the toc text)...but what am I suppose to do with it? physically type in the dots where it says leader?

So sorry - I know this must sound just stupid to you.. :(

Highlight a tab stop on the ruler and then enter something in the Leader field...

One dot will do.

One dot with a space will also do.

Two dots with a space will do something different.


Whatever you enter becomes the repeating pattern that Leads up to the tab stop.
