I have published a website which I basically used frontpage.
It is fine. But if you change the font options in the production side that is from timesnewroman to verdana or something else. All the text is cripplled in many pages, The navigation text links at the bottom are shown in the middle of the body of the text.
But I checked other websites, I changed the font it is still neat not as this website of my company.
The url of the website whic I am talking about is if you need to see what my problem is change the font from tools - internet options - font to some other fault then see the homepage.

Thanks for your time.

Any suggestions thanks.

Kavya,

There are a couple of things that you need to know although they won't exactly answer your question. First of all your page is much too large (in kilobytes). I don't know what protocol the browser uses to change fonts but generally anything connected with fonts uses a lot of resources. This could have some effect on your page.

You have created line breaks and spacing in your page where they should not be. This has an effect on the changed font since no two fonts generally take up exactly the same amount of space even at the same point size. Get rid of the extra spaces and line breaks in your pages. (Use tables to keep your layout the way you want it.)

What I would consider more important is this: The great majority of web surfers don't know that you can make the adjustment to fonts that you mention. A good rule of thumb for web designers is to use only fonts that are standard on all or almost all computers. This is why web pages are almost always done in Arial, Verdana, Times New Roman. When a person does change the default font (from their browser as you mention) they are likely to find that no pages look as good as they were designed to look and will switch back.

Keep in mind that if the viewer does not have the font installed that you use on a page they will see it in Times New Roman.

Our web design firm designs all pages based on the most common default settings of the most widely used comptuers/browsers. It is impossible to make settings match what every user has decided to change from the default setting on their computers but fortunately for us as I mentioned, most are not even aware of these settings.

I have a lot of other information regarding FrontPage at
Good luck
