Hi! My database is shared on a server NT and all users execute it in same time direcltly from this server, All client computer have XP. But, some computers execute approach very slowly and others work perfectly on the same network and i don't known why? I check the default printer, but no change. (Sorry for my engish)

Check for differences between the machines that work well versus those that do not.
o Are there differences in the amount of RAM memory?
o Are there differences in the video driver (try changing to 800x600 resolution to see if that changes the speed)?
o Is Windows on the slower machines at a different service pack level than the others(some report SP2 caused a change in Approach speed)?

Some clients have the same hardware configuration and are in the same Service Pack (All in SP2), but there is a slower one. I already try to reload approarch on the slowler one.
I hoped that resolution changed something, but nothig happens.

Thanx for your help.

Printers can also affect the speed. Install printer drivers on all computers even if the printer is remotely connected. This will let Approach check printer settings without sending an inquiry over your network.
