hello,

I have wireless customers. My Access Points are not so much talented. I want to limit the bandwidth of my customer. I have one cisco 4000. How can i limit my customer's bandwidth to 128kbps in the router ethernet port. Or is there any solution related to router.

Thank you

bye
Murat

Have a look at the Committed access rate (CAR) technology, this should do what you want. Works on either specific IP addresses or sub-nets etc, specified by an access-list.

Routerman, you mentioned Committed access rate (CAR) technology. Could you elaborate on that? Are you talking about another piece of software?
