When you print out the FCR information in LD49 you will get a CRNO prompt. The CRNO numbers usually map to the NCOS number. (you wont see an NCOS reference in LD49.
ex.
CRNO 0 = NCOS 0
I say usually. Only some really awkward engineer would map the numbers differently.
So print off all the CRNO's listed. These will show the allowed digits when you dial out. Pick the most appropriate CRNO for your use. Change the NCOS in the phone config to match your chosen CRNO. You can ammend the CRNO table in LD49 if it does not have sufficient barring for you. Each table is written to either start by denying all numbers then you allow certain digits or it starts by allowing all numbers then you deny certain digits.
Have to be careful, are you in the US/Japan or Europe. This matters as NCOS is used in different ways
1. Check if the CLS of the DN has UNR or TLD, CTD etc.If it is anything other then UNR, then the systems will probably use FRL.
2. Check in LD 86 TYPE ESN look for NCOD= FRL they should match but not always, if they do not match then the NCOS is " translated " to another valve of FRL.
3. ld 49 TYPE FCR and enter the FRL/NCOS number against CRNO. You may find you there are no NCOS tables
4. You need to check the AC1/AC2 and look forSPN and the RLI
5. LD 86 TYPE RLI enter the RLI from ld 90. Look for the FRL value- Is the DN NCOS/FRL - remember it may be translated via ESN print, equal or Higher if so then you can make the call if it is lower then you are barred
Europe- usually the NCOS table in LD 49 is show you what's denied and allowed - easier
