Im trying to figure out what the difference is between TNS available and digital telephones available in an option 11. please advise.

TNs would be all physical ports including trunks, digital and analog phones...digital phones would be on particular TNs assigned to the Digital station cards...

I think you are seeing that after you change a phone... it says "DIGITAL TELEPHONES AVAIL:" Or, when you print an "SLT" report.

That is licenses available, or "right to use""

If you working on earlier releases you would only have had TNS not Digital TNs and Analogue TNS. This was just another way for Nortel to extract money from the end user.

Thanks,
Colin
