After replacing a tn798 the resident memory is g3v7,xxxx and my old card and flash card are g3v8xxxx. how can I get my old info into resident memory on the new card? I'm on a Prologix.
The only login that works is not my old one and my old translations are not there. I did a reset sys 4 after login and still the same. It looks like it won't take the flash card info when the resident doesn't match. Also I do get a mismatch alarm.

The software load is a "flash" of the processor. The "flash card" holds the translations (and possibly announcements or wireless data).

You need to obtain a processor with the correct load or find a vendor that has the correct orange card to "flash" the processor.

Thanks Jimbo. After I posted it I thought "This is an upgrade". And I just had to find a card with the right version instead of changing it. It's fixed, and thanks for your input.
