I would like to order 2 spare proc cards TN790B.
Available are:
CP TN790B PROC R6.3.3
DEF PKG TN790B R6.3.4
DEF PKG TN790B R8.2
CP TN790B PROC R8.3
CP TN790B PROC R8.4
Could you please tell me which one goes for which Release (R6/7/9/11)?

The TN790B came out with the R7 release and should be backwards compatible to the G3vs, G3s, G3iV5. Hope this helps:

The TN790C was released with R9 is used with all loads going forward from there.

You're tn 790b will also run release 8 software, which is much more feature rich that release 7. At release 9 Avaya went to the tn2404 for the G3si which will run up to release 12 software.

If you are ordering these for your current configuration of software, match what you have in your switch. If these will be to cover a newer load of software, get the latest that you can that will support the software vintage you are running. If this is a duplicated system, be sure to match both processors with the same vintage of packs.
