Need some help with this one? Can a TN767E card be used for ISDN-PRI circuits on newer versions of Communication Manager? I have this working on older Definity's, but I just tried creating one for my CM3.1 and when I try to configure the DS1, it won't let me choose ISDN-PRI as a Signaling Mode, only ISDN-EXT. But if I choose ISDN-EXT, it won't let me create a signaling group, saying the type must be ISDN-PRI to add a signaling group. Any ideas? Obviously I'd like to avoid buying one of the newer TN464's if I can.

I am not sure all the official guidelines from Avaya, but what I do know is this...

Any version on a G650 Carrier, the TN767x is not supported.

It is my understanding that version 3 and above does not support the TN767E as the primary card, but all EXT channels can be used with the TN767E.

I am a user not a dealer, so they may have additional information.

But I am sitting on at least 15 TN767E's that I pulled out of a 1.3 system when I upgraded to 4.0.1 w/ G650s.

TN767's or TN2313AP's are NOT supported for PRI's on any G650 / S-Series server. You must use TN464's. The older cards can still be used for standard TIE T1's in a G650 (no D-Channel)

x2. No issues for tn767 on the EXT non-D channel spans but the primary and secondary D channel spans need to be on TN464's.
