TM3.2 Billing/Employee Editor 1

Yep I'm afraid it's TM3.2 CS1000MG RLS 5.5

It's become apparent when running billing reports that my Employee Editor is out of sync ie not correct names, I have over 3K users and I guess around 30 pct aren't right...Oh Dear

Any ideas guys how to resolve other than going in manually and editing - Oh I do hope so !!!

I run and schedule CND/Billing/CorpDirectory weekly but obviously the employee editor doesn't sync which is a pain as it's providing the name details etc to the billing reports

If I understand your dilemma correctly, you should:

1) Run a CND sync (you can schedule this to occur hourly, daily, weekly, etc).

2) Then run a Billing Sync (found under the main navigator's "Utilities" menu). This also can be scheduled to run regularly.

This should update the names and data for your billing reports.

Hey Jephph, I was losing hope on this but Thanks for your reply/suggestion. Pretty sure I have this one covered as my CND sync is scheduled at the end of every week along with the Billing Sync Up - I'll check this out though and report back, to see if I'm missing anything, I'll even start and run them to see if it updates the Employee Editor

Yep I've got both of those scheduled and they run at the end of every week. I think the issue may be the option in the Billing Sync Schedule 'selected' as there are three to choose from but not entirely clear.

I have selected 'Update matching entries and non matching entries' Is that right ?

These are the options
Delete all existing entries and add new
Update matching entries
Update matching entries and non matching entries

Is this the problem, have I selected the right one as I can confirm its not updating the Employee Editor ?

The option that you're using should work. Essentially, the Billing Sync routine takes CND data and refreshes the TBS employee database with any changes that the CND database contains. The "Update Matching and Non-Matching" option is one that I commonly see.
At this point, the question that you should be asking yourself is, "Does my CND database contain the updated information?" If not, find out why not. If it does, consult your Billing Sync logs and try to interpret them to come up with a reason why the TBS employee data is not being refreshed by the routine.

Jephph, Just to see I selected 'Delete all existing entries and add new' run the schedules CND and then Billing Sync, carried out the same process by selecting 'Update matching entries and non matching entries' and left it at that

Checked logs all looks ok now apart from when I look at WEB search-customer details some are set to No 'Assigned to Employee' so I select Yes on the drop down menu, but its if it won't save when I Logout of WEB TM

Any ideas where I'm going wrong now ?

Afraid that I'm out of ideas. It may be time to call your vendor or open a case with Nortel if you are the vendor. Other that patching to the latest PEP, I'm not going to be of any help here.
 
Jephph, appreciate your suggestions along the way and yep I guess it's time to escalate to clarify things

Not a great fan of TM but thats not unusual
