TM2LP board for Hipath 3800

Hi guys,

hey, would you know what does it mean the TM2LP´s leds ?

Right now I´m using this board for cellphone calls, using 8 telular each of them connected to each TM2LP´s port. But I can´t do cellphone calls, and TM2LP has two led statically lighting ( one green and the other one red).

I restarted the Hipath 3800 last Friday, I´m afraid since then the system doesn´t let to do cellphone calls.

red light on = Board is receiving power and board test is in progress.
Board is defective if status remains unchanged (board test unsuccessful).

But this shows status with the green light off, there is no meaning in the manaul saying both on.

You could try restarting the system or if you have manager c tool take it out of service and back in again, if not you will have to replace the board

Hi obtsystems,

Could you give me instructions of how could I deactivate/activate this board ?
I restarted the system, but nothing changed. I would like to try the second option, take it out of service and back again from Manager but I don´t know where can I do that.

If you powered down the system, it is a better way to restart the card.

it sounds like a faulty card. Have you checked there is no card pre installed in that slot in manager tool>system

Yes, I checked and Hipath recognizes this card, it appears in slot 8.

Check plug contact on board.

Replace the board.
Loadware loading not successfully com- pleted. Board is faulty.
Replace the board.
Error detected on board. Board is deactivated (not applicable to er- rors detected by test loops) or board was deactivated using HiPath 3000/5000 Man- ager E.
Check whether the board was deactivated using Hi- Path 3000/5000 Manager E. If not, replace board.

Loadware is being loaded.

Board test completed successfully. Board is OK (idle state).

At least one subscriber line circuit is activat- ed.

Has any of the programming changed? How are the ports presented to the premicell? Are they Cat5, normal PSTN sockets?

Could you provide a kds file for me to look at?
