O.K. I have installed TM 3.2 on a windows 2k3 server and configured it to run as a standalone server. From what I understand, I can either use a serial or ethernet connection. I currently do not have a serial connection available on the server. is it possible to connect to a system/ site as is? I never used this application before; im insrtalling it because I was asked to now monitor billing/ call cost. Any cheat sheats out there to make the application connect? or, do I still need to do stuff on the system side (system/switch configurations). To put this in perspective, I AM NEW TO NORTEL as I just aquiresd this position, this is my second post. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

The minimum you will require is 2 PTY (ELAN) connections on the CS1K/PBX and you maywell want to book a TM/Billing course on TM3.2 alone on how to set this all up

Not the most popular application, you'll find on this forum. Essentially a web based and front end PBX management tool with the Billing segment/option offered by 3rd party application Avotus

Cheers!!

As long as your system is configured with an ethernet connection as posted above it is very easy to connect to it with TM.

In the system properties there is a communications tab. In that tab under the default profile put in the IP of your PBX (core 0). Also, you need to go to Customer tab and create a customer 0 with the proper login username and password that is used for your PBX.

Let me know if you need more help.
