Has anyone had experience importing csv files into TM 3.1? So far I have been successful except with importing DIG keys and BFS keys.
The DIG Keys I send as:
DIG 1 20 V
but they import as:
DIG 1
20V

The BFS keys I send as BFS 008 0 02 00 and I get an error "Loop entry must be between 0 and 255".

I have tried a lot of different combinations (adding spaces, dashes, etc) with no luck.

Q01748474 for BFS key in TM 3.1. Fix is in 3.1 SU3, due mid May, and 3.2.
No word on the DIG Keys yet.

Hi, i need to change the first name last name fields in TM.
currently I have some entries with only a last name.
i.e LOW-365 is in the last name CPND field.
I have to separate this with LOW (first name) 365 (last name)
I have a CSV file, but not sure of fields or labels required, can anyone help

In your csv file you will need columns with headers TN, CUSTOMER, KEY0. (Notice there is no space between Key and 0)
Here is an example of KEY0:
SCR 2535 0 MARP CPND_FIRST_NAME(John) CPND_LAST_NAME(Smith)

It's almost easier to use a name script with ProComm then retrieve the stations to update TM.

Patch 3102841SU3d.exe is now available for TM. I loaded it and the KBA 1 and BFS key problem appears to be resolved. However, the DIG keys are still not importing properly.

Were are you finding the patches? I looked in Nortel's web site and it isn't listed.

Update:
I just loaded patch 3102841P14 from Nortel and now the DIG Import is working.
