Hi,

I've got a CS 1000 with a Signaling Server. I'm trying to setup TM 3.1 but I get an error. I cannot login to the switch. My setup is this:

10.1.2.10 = CS 1000
10.1.2.11 = SS
10.1.2.12 = MC32 (ITG Card)
10.1.2.13 = MC32 (ITG Card)

This setup works very well, but I cannot setup my TM 3.1 to 10.1.2.10. When I telnet to 10.1.2.10 (CS1000) I get the login prompt for the SS - the same happens when I telnet to 10.1.2.11 (SS).

Is it possible to connect TM 3.1 to the CS 1000 in this setup? If I cannot do that, how do I then do it?

Thank you.

What kind of sw do you have on the system? Go to LD117 and type stat host and paste it here. I don't thins 10.1.2.10 is your cs1000, I think that is you node IP on the T-Lan...

Hi,

ahh, that's right! That's my T-LAN addresses. My E-LAN is 20.30.40.50, 20.30.40.51 and so on.

20.30.40.50 is the switch. Do I need to connect to that?

Yes, you have to connect to your E-Lan or ELNK address on your pabx's cpu. You find the address by:
>LD 137
.stat elnk
ELNK ENABLED
Ethernet (qu unit number 0):
Host: CS_ELAN
Internet address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Thank you very much.

It isn't possible to connect on the T-LAN?

It is possible to connect to the system through the T-Lan, just not with the TM3.1 sw if you want it to work...
