Hi,

I am unable to log into CND, but in part that's because the service is not running. When we force the start, it fails to start and says "Error 1053" and says something about it failing. Has anyone come across this?

We have tried rebooting, reparing the software, uninstalling, and re-installing (not reloading Windows server) and this isn't working.

Good Karma to who anyone who can help,
Thanks,
Jadeing

Try this procedure:

Use this process under the CMD prompt on the server to start the NORTEL COMMON DIRECTORY SERVICE

CD \Program Files\Nortel\Common Network Directory

DB_recover -h dta

glynnmsg-

Thanks for your suggestion, this is what I got is below. It didn't like my parameters. I did see that the recover file is in the fike location.

I haven't really ran into anyone that runs CND and uses it-do you like it, does it work for you? (I had it working before). I haven't found a way to make mass changes with CND, say just for example... hahaha- that my PBX CLID does not match my active directory. Is there a way after importing to CND that I can do some kind of "batch" update to the PBX based on matching telephone number?

Thanks!!
Jadexing

jadexing, did you type the command in exactly like this DB_recover -h dta I haven't found any way to make mass changes either, I do use CND and I don't have any issues with it. Try running the command again to see if you can get this to work. Make sure you put the dash next to the H
