TLANI settings for UK

Does anyone know the right settings for a TLANI in the UK?
Specific problems I'm having are not detecting calling party has hungup (IVM stays busy for up to a couple of minutes after a message is left), poor audio quality and low volume at the remote end of the line (volume at my end seems ok).

I noticed the config template for the line was set on default, but there was also a loop start and ground start template. Not really sure what it means to be on default because it didn't contain the settings found in loop start or ground start templates, but default must be one of those (also of course the hardware has jumpers to select between the 2). As I'm fairly confident my line is loop start I tried that template instead of the default. Not good - phone no longer rang on incoming calls and it took me about half a dozen attempts and reboots to get it back to default.

It is normally plug and play with co cards. I would leave it on default do you have cpc on the lines? With loop start cards you need something to tell the system the call is over
 
Thanks, I suspected it should be that simple. However, given the problems I did start to wonder. I'm not sure about cpc, I've got a question in with tech support (3 days and waiting...) from the phone company to check I have it and find it's duration.

If it's quite a short duration and I need to reduce the detection time on the tlani, which setting in the template do I need to be changing (none of them looked exactly what I needed)? Or would I just be better off asking the phone company to increase it?
