Tivoli Desktop on redhat 8.0 1

I have a TMR running on redhat 8.0 . The desktop does not start. All I see is the splash screen for a couple of seconds.

Anybody??

I have the same problem with RH 8.0.

On RH 7.3 works fine.

Is the version of glibc I think
glibc-2.2.4-13
glib-1.2.10-5 Learning is the secret!

which version of TME10 are you using.

I tried to install redhat 8.0 as managed node,have TMR v 3.6

The installation of managed node fails...

Hi all,

I don't think Tivoli officially supports RH 8.0. I think that according to their manuals (and their online docs), the highest that they seem to recognize is RH 7.2. (Although I too have a 7.3 TMR

As for the RH MN with 3.6 TMR, I definitely don't think that will work. I believe that RH wasn't moved to a tier one platform until 3.7.x and I think that RH MN (and TMR for that matter) weren't available until FW 4.1.
