What does everyone in the field put after their name? What do you think
looks good? How do you list yours, after your name or on a line below? I am
just wandering what everyone else in this field is doing. As you can see I
currently have 4 certs. I am just weeks away from upgrading me MCSA and MCSE
to 03. I am also currently over half way through my CCNA. Of course you want
everyone you email and give a business card to know about your
accomplishments but how do you keep it professional looking? Thanks for any
input on this matter.

Personally I just have my name at the top of my CV and put my certs (and other training courses I have attended) in a training and certifications section at the bottom.

I put my actual skills at the top, thus placing an emphasis on what I could do for this company/organisation
as they are going to be what an employer looks at (unless you are applying to an MS (or other) certified partner, which requires a certain number of certified people amongst its staff.
The training and certification section is right at the bottom.

In order, the sections are:
Personal details
Skills
- includes operating systems, major applications and programming languages and the year I first used them. These are sub classified into: Operating systems, Desktop Applications, Client/Server applications, Programming Languages, Other.

Employment history
-includes details of employers, dates worked with details of what I did for them in reverse chronological order
Education
- Details of my academic education, most recent first.
Training and certification
- as per above.

In my email signature I don't put any of my certs, as I find that repeating the same information, especially if you repeatedly contact the same people annoys them. As I don't have a business card of my own, I can't really comment on that aspect.

I personally don't have any certs listed on my business card or email but those that want them on their cards where I work just have them following their name - I wouldn't put more than 1 or 2 though (i.e. just put MCSE in your case).

Mine is simply Simon Davies.

I can't be bothered having

Simon Davies, CNA 3.12, CNA 4.11, CNE Intranetware, CCNA, MCP+i, MCSE NT4, MCSA2003, MCSA2003:Security, MCSE2003, MCSE2003:Security, Comptia Security+

I do list my certs on my CV tho and that's about it.

mrmoneymatters,

If your business card has your name and title:

Brandon Baker
Network Admin

then MCSE should suffice. What you put on your resume is different, but your business cards should be general-purpose.
