Avaya IP Office V2 9.1.7:
I have a system running 9.1.7. We created an "open" time profile used on the incoming call route between 5:30 am - 4:00 pm M-F. I put a user button on the reception phone (TIMEPROFILE) so that the user could latch/unlatch if needed. Basically what happens is that when the time profile becomes active (between 5:30 am - 4:00 pm) the TIMEPROFILE button on the phone does not illuminate (turn green) (also . . using a 1416 phone). However, if I call into the system, the call does get routed in and phones ring at which point the button turns green (illuminates). This happens at the start of business and close of business. Another way to reword this:
If we come into the office at 5:30 am, the TIMEPROFILE button is not illuminated/green which it should be. However, if I call into the system at (let's say) 5:45 am, the call routes in as it should (open for business) and the button immediately goes green/illuminated. The Same thing happens at the close of business . . . at 4:00 pm going forward, the button stays illuminated/green which you would think that it should automatically go out (unlit). And, again, if I manually call into the system at (lets say) 4:15 pm, the call goes directly to the auto-attendant (closed for business) as it should and the status light goes out properly.
In summary, shouldn't the TIMEPROFILE button light on/off whenever the time profile is enacted? Not sure why it seems to always be the first call in after a status change of the profile dictates the status button. I do know that the time profile is working properly but seems as though there might be a bug in regards to the TIMEPROFILE button?
Thanks for any/all help with this!
