Is there a way to increase the idle timeout for a telnet session? After about three minutes my 3600 logs me out. Very annoying.

Use the "session-timeout" command under the line configuration. The following will allow for a 10 minute timeout:

line vty 0 4
session-timeout 10

Thanks so much. Now the dumb question, why could I not find this in the doc anyplace?....must be pilot error.
