Is there a way to program the CCR on a NAM to increase the time out available to enter a response? The only way I could think was to go back in and re-record my messages with some blank space at the end of each statement. We have patients calling into the doctor and when on a cell phone have to then bring up their keypad and don't have enough time to enter the option, then they time out and go back.

Thanks,

That's actually an external user problem and you've already stumbled upon the most logical solution.

I assume you're talking about CCR menus, in which case you might try repeating the entire menu after recording the last option but that does tend to encourage the users to tie up those busy channels much longer than they really should.

Those things are designed to time out for a reason so if your callers snooze, they lose but those who have it together can get through.
